Arsenal FA Cup Exit
Gunners Lose 3-1 to Liverpool in Third Round
Arsenal's FA Cup hopes were ended in disappointing fashion on Sunday, as they were defeated 3-1 by Liverpool in the third round. Despite taking an early lead through Bukayo Saka, the Gunners were unable to hold on as the Reds scored three unanswered goals to claim victory.
Martinelli Equalizes
After Saka's opener, Gabriel Martinelli leveled the score for Arsenal just before half-time. However, Liverpool regained the lead in the second half through Harvey Elliott, before Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho sealed the win late on.
The defeat means that Arsenal's hopes of winning a domestic trophy this season are over. They will now focus on the Premier League and Europa League, where they remain in contention for silverware.
