The San Diego Padres beat the Colorado Rockies 6-4 on Thursday night for their 20th win in 25 games.
Luis Campusano homered and singled, Manny Machado had four hits, and David Peralta hit a three-run home run
for the Padres.
Kris Bryant hit a go-ahead two-run single with the bases loaded in the sixth inning for the Rockies.
The Padres have won 10 of their last 11 games and are now 64-48 this season.
The Rockies have lost six of their last eight games and are now 51-61.
Padres starter Mike Clevinger allowed four runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings
He struck out seven and walked two.
Rockies starter Kyle Freeland allowed three runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
He struck out five and walked three.
The Padres took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Campusano's solo home run.
The Rockies tied it in the second on a sacrifice fly by Hilliard.
The Padres regained the lead in the third on a two-run single by Machado.
The Rockies tied it again in the fourth on a solo home run by Bryant.
The Padres took the lead for good in the sixth on Peralta's three-run home run.
The Rockies scored a run in the seventh on a groundout by Ryan McMahon.
Taylor Rogers pitched the ninth inning for the Padres and earned his 30th save.
The Padres will host the Rockies again on Friday night.
